In this day and age I can't believe how oblivious we can be to the blatant racism inherent in such a common game as chess. I mean why is it that white always gets to go first? Furthermore, why is it that no one has stood up against this? I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where chess pieces will not be judged by the color of their exteriors but by the content of their characters.
