I just checked out your pics (good pecs by the way).
That hateful stubborn belly fat can come off in two ways:
1: Liposuction.
2: Reducing overall B/F.
There's no other way sadly, although your 20lb weight loss is pretty amazing. I'd keep to going the way you're going and it'll happen.
I'm trying to put some lean muscle on before cutting with cardio and then doing abs in time for summer. It's now april and I'm not sure if I'll get exactly what I want this year, but I'm trying.
One other thing (don't take this the wrong way). Do you drink? Alcohol has to be the arch enemy of body building. All it does is gives you a headache, dehydrates, puts fat on and screws your testosterone levels so you can't put on lean muscle, which is very efficient in burning fat.
I really should practice what I preach...........
Good luck.

Oh, one other thing:
Interval training burns 9 times more energy in half the time of steady state cardio.
Sprint 1 minute, jog 2 minutes and so on.

What I didn't realise is that alcohol screws up your testosterone for up to 48 hours. Someone sent me this. Have a read:
http://www.teenbodybuilding.com/bigalcohol.htm
'Cos my workout days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Friday is really my only day.
Oh, hang on a minute, you also need to be producing testosterone during your recovery period.
Ah ****!
I'm on a week off at the moment. As of Saturday, I'm off the sauce completely, eating totally clean, getting my protein regularly and plenty of water.
I'm going to get strict and see where it takes me!

Hang in there. Losing the first 20 pounds of body fat is the easy part I'm afraid. Losing that last couple of pounds around the lower abs is A LOT harder! A very clean diet and a good cardio program will get you there though, but it will take some time.
Good luck!

I am sure you realize this but if you didnt do that 45 min of cardio a day and kept eating the same then you'd have alot more body fat. It all comes down to how many calories we eat vs how many we burn up.
What I like about cardio is the direct relationship between the amount I do and the amount of fat burned. If I restrict my calories too much then my metabolism enters "starvation mode". However, with cardio it mostly comes down to thermodynamics and my body has to burn off enough fat to provide the energy I am using. Right now I do an hour of cardio twice a day and since I am following a strict diet with high protein and low carbs and using a few good supplements like omega 3 etc my body composition testing shows 12 lbs fat loss and 3.5 lbs muscle gain over the last 8 weeks.

My abs are not in right now, but when I eat every 2-3 hours (6-7 meals a day), and combine that with resistance training(weights), I lose inches from my waist. Another thing that can help you is keeping a food log. Write down what you eat, how much you eat and when you eat it. I don't do much cardio at all. Good luck!

I'd expand on that somewhat, as follows....
It all comes down to how many calories we eat , where the calories come from, and when we consume them vs how many we burn up and how we burn them. Calories in versus calories out, is oversimplifying it in the extreme.
I think your results of 12 lbs fat loss and 3.5 lbs muscle gain over the last 8 weeks, will back up that logic. Kudos on that great achievement!
