I am a total sucker for twizzlers and dots. Those have always been my favorite sweets, never a big chocolate fan. I know that dots are just straight up sugar, but how bad are the twizzlers? I wouldn't be eating the whole bag (which I am known to do), just the serving size of like 4 or 5. Sugarwise its meh, with like 18 g, but no fat, and low sodium.
In small quantities are they okay?

^^^^^ he said it all man. What you put into your body is its fuel for working out and building muscle. What do you think you will accomplish by eating empty calories? Its all about dedication man

I dislike the term "empty" calories. To a bodybuilder, at least, there is no such thing as an empty calorie. Calories are what you need. Just get enough of the good stuff in the rest of your diet.
No sir, I don't like it.

food that is just carbs, in this case sugar and most likely maltodextrin, with no nutritional value is pretty empty, though i gues you could argue that the 200mg of sodium makes it less than empty.
An ice cream cone at McDonalds has more nutritional value than a pack of twizzlers.

Do they have Hydrogenated or Fractionated Oil ?? If not, probably only as bad for you as the sugar in them.

I've always thought they were the lesser of all evils. Plus they taste great. I eat a few strands post dinner. If you control yourself go ahead.

If you really want to have them, have a few before and a few after your workout and you will be fine.

if twizzlers were actual licorice then maybe it wouldn't seem as bad, but they aren't so they are ****.
