    Yukon Seated Calf Machine

Can anyone give me some feedback on this machine?

    http://www.amazon.com/Yukon-Fitness-.../dp/B000P5CN5U

What about the 'patented foot pedals"?

    What's a good price, new?

Thanks for any seated calf machine help or advice.

Most seated calf raises have the foot platform tilted towards you, that one appears to be tiled away. Never used anything like that so cannot comment. Yukon is a decent name though.

I'm going to guess that the 'patented' foot pedals swivel, since with the weight down your feet would be riding on the edge of the platform (ow) and not the flat part. My machine the pedal is angled toward you, and I don't like it, on my rainy day list is to cut them off and weld them back horizontal.

correct me if I'm wrong, but if the foot rest swivels wouldn't it be hard to use if you rest just your front part of your foot on the foot rest? I don't put my entire foot on the rest. I let my heels hang off the foot rest. If it swivels, it'd be a biotch to keep stable. I haven't used this one though, so I can't comment. I prefer the Body Solid Commercial Calf Raise Machine http://cgi.ebay.com/Body-Solid-Comme...QQcmdZViewItem
