hmm that was tough to phrase. and i'm not exactly sure if i should be asking here anyways. but the last 10 days i lost 5 pounds and that seems like a lot in a short period of time. is it too much? what would be borderline unhealthy? i use:
ON 100% whey
OL fish oil
animal pak
hydroxycut hardcore

hmm not very overweight at all. im 5' 9" and i went from 201.5lbs to 196.5lbs in 10 days. is this because i'm doing quite a bit of cardio do you think, or could the hydroxycut really be working? you can check my journal in my sig too. saturday the 29th-ish is where i weighed in at 201.5, then it's only like 5 short posts to today so you can see what i've been doing.

yes i drink plenty of water. water and milk is all i drink now, aside from the last 4 days where i said **** it and didnt lift or eat right. but now im back on track and won't be chasing tail all night every night so i can focus on lifting more. it probably was just water weight. would i only have huge weight losses like this in the first week? i'll definitely be weighing myself every week now just to see.

You're aged and without a sense of humor. . Fatso (BigArmLittleDick) knows sh*it about body building and physical conditioning. His shape is proof of that. His advice is a joke. He also lacks rudimentary grammatical skills. Enough said about that clown.
Negative or Positive reputation points mean butkis to me. Those who use that system as a weapon or a reward have little or nothing interesting to add to a conversation. You just proved that pops.

nope i havent. i've just got serious about lifting and nutrition in the last week. is somebody able to explain losing water weight? i just don't get it. i drink a lot of water now, but it seems like i piss it all out. how does this result in losing "water weight" if i drink so much more now than ever?

I dont know if 2 lbs is the absolute maximum as the amount of wieght you can lose per week is somewhat dependent on how over wieght you are; if you are really overwieght by a 100 pounds or so; you could lose more than 2 pounds a week; however, as your bodyfat becomes less and less; 2 pounds a week or even less might be to much...
In general though, in your case as you are saying you dont have much bodyfat; 2 pounds a week would be to much; i am unsure if you lost water or not; but will say when i started doing a lot of cardio sometime ago, i lost a lot of mass (i did not have much bodyfat) and did not even realize i was losing it until someone said i looked skinnier.
