Creatine Micronized Dosage Time For 16yr Old
I have bought a 1000gram tub of Higher Power nutrition Micronized creatine 1000 (100% Pharmaceutical grade) creatine. Ive been training vigorously for almost a year. I have been able to lift and extra 15kg in each arm for DB press. To me this is a pretty big improvement.
Stats:
Age: 16 and 8months
Weight: 79kg
Height:178cm
Body fat: 22.5%
Well the main question im here to ask is when i should be taking this supplement and how much of it. It says at the back of the tub a heaping spoon (5grams) but im afraid this might be too much, honestly im not sure. If you guys could tell me when it is best taken and how much of it, i would really appreciate it. Also i heard that if it is taken with glucose it is absorbed by the body much better. Please fill me in to get the most out of this supplement.

i use 1 teaspoon of creatine and 1 teaspoon of dextrose

At what times do you take it? before training, after training? Also i train 5 days a week, Monday-Friday at 4.30pm. Also since im young i don't think i should do the loading phase i think i should just stick to the maintainence, and every month take a week or 2 off and then start up again.
All help appreciated

i take it after training in my pwo shake, creatine isnt that complicated when u think about it

Its just the fact that im 16 and not sure how much grams to take. Also i heard people take it before working out and after. Some people take it just after and some just before. Just wanted to know how much and when i should take it.

i started taking creatine when i was your age, do the loading phase you will see results faster doing so especially when bulking up.

geez, how long ago was this?
the loading phase is not that complicated, i load taking creatine 5 grams,5 times a day in seperate doses a day for 6 days, i also do to help me remember i write down how much ive taken each day just to make sure,then after the 6 days is up, a maintenence dose of 5 grams a day is fine for you(acording to your weight), take it pre/post workout whichever is fine, take 10 grams a day in seperate doses if your 90kg (200lb) and over.

I didnt want to do the loading phase since im only 16 but turning 17 in 4months. Still dont exactly know if its safe to do the loading phase for me. But definetly going to take 5grams a day but still tossing over pre or post workout.

creatine isnt a steroid mate, i did the loading phase at 16, the only possible side effect you could get would be some bloating (which i never got) but i doubt it would be really obvious. when my diet and training was in check i managed to gain about 5 kilos in 1 week from creatine.

Loading phaes day 1-5. four times a day 20 grams in total
day 6-21. two times a day 10 grams in total
Then go off for 3 days, and repeat
