What is better...running 2 miles before you lift or running 2 miles after you lift? I lift 4 times a week and have been running immediately after.
What are the pros and cons of running before and after?
Is one definitely better?

There are studies coming out now that say that if you are looking to improve your strength gains and to build muscle then cardio should be done on totally seperate days alltogether. After strength/resistence training your goal should be first to become anabolic and to do that you need to start taking in aminos, protein, creatine, and quick carbs, so this takes out the idea of doing cardio after training. Doing cardio before your training will tire you out a bit even if you dont think it will. Either way it has definatly been shown to take away from recovery ability and takes away strength gains. If you must do both in the same day do them at least 8 hours apart to ensure you get some meals in you and that you have the energy for a workout thats gonna make you better.

At 2 miles, it shouldn't matter. Only reason not to do it before is if it wears you out and you can't lift your best. But, this is rarely the case. In professional exercise testing, the cardio work is done before the 1-RM tests. There really isn't a benefit to doing it after you lift. Technically, the whole thing about your body turning to fat more is true, but it doesn't matter in the end (calories are calories).
Neither is definitely better than the other. Try both and see what you like.
