Protein intake
I've just had an email from my protein supplier (Maximuscle) and they've recommended i take 2G of protein per KG of body weight, thats 63KG i weigh, so around 126G of protein. Now my body weight in lbs is 140lbs, and i read some where else its 2G per lb, that means 280G of protein per day. Can someone correct me on which is wrong. Getting an email directly from a supplier has confused me alot.
Thanks

i've heard 1.8g per pound of lbm as an upper limit...i think anything over 2g's a pound is overkill unless you're enhanced...but also in the 1-2g per pound range you have to experiement to see whats best for you

I doubt you'd need that much if you are just trying to maintane. If you are bulking i wouldnt be against that advice.

1-1.5g/lb is the generally accepted range. Any less than 1g/lb and recovery will suck, and any more than 1.5g/lb I think you're better off getting more healthy fats or complex carbs.

I wouldn't worry about going over 1.5 g/lb until you're past the 200 lb mark or so. It's not really needed for you yet, and it's cheaper to eat the other macros.
