question? and have u ever?
ok so for the past couple of nights I have been so excited to eat my breakfast that I can't wait to fall asleep cuz I know I can get in my egg whites and oatmeal as soon as I get up! (it's my favorite meal) I am 3 weeks out from my first figure show and cutting my carbs.... so know all I do is get through the day so I can eat my breakfast slowly and enjoy pretty much the only carbs I have during the day! LOL.... How pathetic! o well... just curious if anyone ever experienced anything like that too? or something similar?
-I have also noticed its hard for me to speak correctly. I keep slipping over my words and combining words by accident. Very frustrating! any similar situations while cutting?
-And one last thing! Can anyone give me some tips on what to expect the last 3 weeks out from a figure show? I have been searching the forum for the past couple days and couldn't really find anything. Realistic body progress/ changes, mental things, mood, sleep, etc. Everything ya got ill take
Thanks!

I feel ya on the excitement to go to sleep so you can wake up and eat breakfast. laying in bed thats all I thought about. As far as the mental thing, the low carbs didn't bother me at all. In fact I had my first set of exams the 1 week out from my show and I aced them all.

Yeah it can get horrible for me when I get low carb. I hate meeting people for the first time when I'm low on carbs because I'm sure they think I'm half retarded or have a speech impediment, so for me I find it helps to speak as little as possible, lol.

hey! I know how u feel, lately, mostly the last week or so ive felt like a retard. I know what i want to say, but it comes out wrong, and yes, i enjoy my carb meal too lol i only get one in the am. This I think is a common minde set when ur dieting, depending on the person. I miss my carbs lol! but yeah, the whole sluring thing, i think its common because ur starting to get tired, i know i am!

haha your post brings back so many memories of when i was a couple weeks out.
breakkie was BY FAR my fav meal of the day.
expect to see dramatic changes in your body the last two weeks, expecially the last week when u do things like water/salt manipulation.
expect people to look at you and think your sick/malnourished haha
surprisingly the last week for me went reallly quick and was one of the easiest coz i was so excited and busy with last minute details such as tanning, hair removal, buying makeup, suit fitting etc...
have fun and savour every moment, the good and the not so good!!!
and go get em!!

thanks sooo much! I feel sooo unprepared! I don't know anything really as far as makeup and tanning..... it seems soo detailed whenever I read anything about it
I can't wait to see the changes take place in the next 3 weeks. I hope all goes well for me and everyone else!!!

3 days w/o carbs! Not even a ketogenic diet calls for that!
