Blood work results - Liver too high in enzymes

So my doctor called me and said that after reviewing my blood work results, it shows that my liver enzymes are too high.

Now 8 hours before this blood test I had one beer because I forgot I had to get this done.

Since about May I have been on and off Creatine (Green Bulge) and I have been taking these vitamin pills for my face prescribed by my doctor.

He wants me to stop the creatine for a month to see if the results change, should I or do you think the one beer effected my results?

Do what your doctor advises and refrain from using supplements for a month. It is unlikely one beer would have raised your liver enzymes substantially.

Elf, have you been using any hormonal products like Superdrol or Phera-Plex? They've been known to cause high liver enzymes.

stopping creatine for a month should barely even affect you in the gym.

creatine won't effect your liver enzymes, but alcohol can raise enzymes for a few days. also, regular exercise leads to high enzyme levels. tell your doc that you drank a beer, and unless your enzymes are significantly above the "normal" range (which, by the way, is normal for a moderately sedentary individual) you shouldn't have a problem. mine are ~10 points higher than normal, and after having several test done for viruses and neuromuscular diseases (which i have a family history of) both of my docs both said that it's just from exercise.

Which liver tests did you get done: ALT, AST, ALB, GGT...etc ?

Do you mind posting the results?

    Face?

What pills are you taking for your face. I was taking Accutane and creatine at the same time and had some liver numbers elevated on my blood work. I stopped taking both and the numbers went back down to acceptable levels.

Like Zippy said, exercise can cause an elevation as well, my doctor suggested not to workout 48 hrs before the bloodwork.
