Dedicating my Half Ironman Triathlon to Pasodo's Safe Haven

Hi all!!

First off, I am a big fan of animals! I believe they should be treated right and that they deserve to be free from pain, injury and harm.. With that said, i am NOT an over the top animal protector. I DO eat meat.. But I do what I can within reason...

Now comes the good part!! About 4 years ago I trained and ran and finished a marathon. As part of this, I raised money for Pasado's Safe Haven, which is a non-profit animal rescue organization in Washington State.. They have done some amazing things here, too many to name.. but i will include the website so you can check them out.. Again, like me, they are not over the top in their methods or ideaology, but are just trying to make it a better world for our furry friends.. I managed to raise over $600, which I have to say I was rather proud of (perhaps more than i was of completing the marathon).

And now I am nearing my Half Ironman Triathlon, which will take place July 6th. And i again, would like to raise money for this organization. I feel I can use this opportunity to help in a way that I otherwise could not. I dont have tons of money (like any of us do in these times) but maybe together we can make a large contribution...

So, if this interests any of you out in the bb.com world, please let me know. Of course, any checks would be written to Pasado's, not me.. And I just checked their website, and donations can be made directly on the site. If you have any questions, please PM me..

thank you for taking the time to read this and at least consider making a donation.

Their website is http://www.pasadosafehaven.org/ ....
