Maybe you should take their advice. One of the smartest and most experienced bodybuilders i know is a pretty short guy. Then again the second smartest bodybuilder I know who also competes nationally (for reals, not bladen competin) is 6'2". So... Im sure if you had any clue what it took to get as big as they are then you wouldnt be bashin them.
Two years he walks the earth, no phone no pool, no pets, no cigarettes.
Ultimate Freedom. An Extremist. An aesthetic voyager who?s home is The Road. So now after two rambling years comes a final and greatest adventure: the climactic battle to kill the false being within, victoriously concludes a spiritual revolution. No longer to be poisoned by civilization he flees and walks alone upon the land to become Lost In The Wild.

Let me call you out here real quick a short skinny begginer starts off at about 125-130 ish
A tall skinny begginer is about 160-165, In a few months the short guy can get to about 150 or higher, and the tall can get about 185 or higher seems to me like same work same output, and if your that worried about appearances dont be, tall guys have more potential, so its a plus, but if your someone who will give up because that potential takes to long to reach, please stop crowding our gyms...
P.S Any guy walking around at your gym inclining 250, which im guessing is a lot mroe than you, probably does deserve respect.

i think people have taken this the wrong way. Who said i was "bitching and crying"? im glad im 6'0 and still fairly young. I would rather be tall and slender than short and stocky anyday, but when were talking about lifting and getting big, i think(my opinion) is that shorter people look bigger way faster do to the shorter arms. (take the same bicep and put it on a 15" upper arm and a 10" upper arm....the shorter one will look bigger...
theres one thing i accedently put on my opening statement. im 'frustrated' that shorter people think there the **** becuz they get big quicker, not becuz they get stronger faster. many o' times shorter guys have walked around with a sense of superiority simply becuz they are extremely stocky and muscular.
if its one thing i wanna to accomplish with this thread... i just want shorter guys to appreciate how much quicker they get swole... and yes, i appreciate that im taller so dont bother saying it"It's not the size of the fight in the dog, it's the size of the dog in the fight."

I lift because it's a great great way to relieve the whole stress in my life and i love the feeling and pump, theres is not a kid out there that i could take out now that i couldn't before. I lift because I appreciate the ability to control the body you live in, almost half a fight is self confidence anyways so i think maybe its you that needs to take a self confidence class...

im not gonna argue with you about what you think in your head, but i doubt you lift to just relieve the stress thing, but you would say anything to make it seem like im wrong. i got a freind that does that all the time.
btw, your basically implying that building muscle and looking bigger has little to do with why you workout. why dont you take some yoga.
(ps.- lemme know when you want to put your version of the saying to the test. go fight a damn half asleep bear and see how long you can survive, "mr. i can take on the whole world YAY!!!""It's not the size of the fight in the dog, it's the size of the dog in the fight."

Haha, did not say i would fight a bear or that i can take the whole world dude, you take everything WAY to personally, it's okay i have an entire family that does the same. Of course i love building muscle and looking bigger, its amazing, bt you were saying OTHER than that why would i do that. Honestly though its a great stress reliever and honestly Endurance, ability to take hits, and get back up IS the fight in the dog, so I'm just saying in a lot of cases either one may be true.

ok well you were implying that you dont work out to get bigger and stronger(thats why you disagreed with the 'size of the dog' to have anything to do with the winner) you said that that had nothing to do with it, so then why do you lift. (apparently, by your standards, strength is no advantage) ok sure.
and the whole bit about you not saying you would fight a bear or take on the world, of course you didnt say that chris, but when you back up the saying, "its not the size of the dog, its the size of the fight," then your saying that you can do anything if you believe in your self and want it bad enough. and the whole half asleep bear thing, incase you didnt understand, was me saying i dont care how much you want to beat up a bear, even if its half-asleep, it would kill you with ease."It's not the size of the fight in the dog, it's the size of the dog in the fight."

Yeah I guess we both misunderstood a lot haha, life has been more stressfull for me recently so ive been more into it for stress than size for about a month but i def started because of size, as for the fighting thing you are probably right, I've honestly never had too much of a size difference in any of the fights ive been in so i guess i wouldnt know. I get to make a protein drink and go to bed soon though
