How much do EZ curl bars weigh?

You're absolutely right...The weight varies and the best way for you to figure out the weight is to weigh yourself with and w/o bar.

def weigh it, and if your gym has more than one, dont assume they weigh the same even if they look the same. We have two that look identical and one weighs 25 and the other 27.5lbs

Unless your weights are calibrated, most of your equipment is going to be off a little bit.

Why would you care what an EZ bar weighs anyway?

i think that the smaller bars are usually around 20-25lbs, but my gym also has a 7' EZ bar that weighs about 40lbs.

I dont care if its x amount of weight per say, but I wouldnt want to have two different weighing bars and not know it. What if one bar was 20lbs and one was 25lbs, say you would put a 25lb plate on each side and one day think you werent as strong as last week, when really you actually added 5 lbs.(or the other way and thought you were getting stronger)

They do vary. I have a solid one, but my brother has a hollow one.
