    Carb Timing

So I'm planning on drinking a small protein shake with about 32 grams of protein 30 minutes before a workout, and 30 minutes after a workout. They will both just be about a scoop of protein powder with a glass of milk. A scoop has about 9 grams of carbs. My question is, will that be enough carbohydrates for a pre and post workout? Or should I add another carbohydrate source. Thanks

Meal timing is highly irrelevant. I eat most of my carbs in the post workout simply for personal preference (hungry AF and they make me sleepy if I eat them before). Just eat them when you're hungry
