    What workout program would you recommend for an intermediate 40+ yr old lifter?

    Looking for a full body work out program. Currently on a version of DUP but looking for other suggestions.

    Madcows and Texas method are probably the best 2 out there

    What are your goals? How many days a week can you workout? I know people on the SS forums often recommend HLM or other Bakers programs for 40+ lifters.

    - Madcow and Texas method are good, especially if you like fullbody 3x/wk routines and/or like the 5x5 style traditional-strength-oriented routines.
    - Upper/Lower splits like Fierce 5 UL and Lyle McDonald GBR are good, especially if you like working out 4x/wk and/or like a higher-rep style, more traditional-hypertrophy, type of routine.

    Find one that suits your schedule and goals. Good luck!
