Why do i get sick
Ok i've been hitting the gym and taking care of my body. Eating well and taking Animal Pak which has like an attrocious ammount of vitamin C. So why have i gotten sick so much at the end of last year through this year. I never remember getting sick so much.
I know it may be a hard question to answer, but any thoughts would be cool.

Don't overload on vitamins and minerals, just take the appropriate amount. Make sure that you're getting enough sleep as well. It's easy to work out really hard and all that, but a lot of people neglect their sleep.

How many hours sleep do you get at night?

Weight training is a tremendous stress on your body and CNS. It's not the first time I've heard this. Your diet becomes even more important when you train hard on a consistent basis. Supplementation can help, sleep is very important as well. If you are not giving your body sufficient recovery time, your immune system will be taxed and ultimately be prone to viruses that are circulating.
Cut Goals/Actuals Phase 1:
1/1: 255 / 255 | 1/8: 252.5 / 251.5 | 2/5: 243.5 / 240.0 | 3/4: 236.5 / 235.5 | 4/1: 231 / 233 | 5/6: 225 / 229|

Hey thanks guys. Yeah it makes sense what you are saying about training hard and having a stressful day and not sleeping as well as you want. I'm buying a new bed when i get my stimulas package money. I do believe sleep has to do a lot with it and it probably wouldnt hurt to jump in the shower first thing after the gym rather than soaking in sweat for a while.
All of you rock! Thanks

well thats interesting. I figured i took enough vitamins to cure mad cow disease. The main reason was to give me all the nutrients my body needed but i thought it would shield me from stupid colds too

Seems like you are spending a lot of money on a vitamin for the wrong reason.

Ditto on the sleep! You should also make sure to drink a lot of water throughout the day. Try L-glutamine and take the fish oils. Good luck!

Where did you find this information? Vitamin C can help attenuate the symptoms of a cold after you have been infected.

you could be overtrained. one thing about these super dee duper vitamin mega packs, you make much better use of vitamin C by eating an orange than you ever will from taking it in a pill

I thought you knew the more the better. Funny thing is, the RDA for Vitamin C (we all know folks had the RDA) is once slice of an orange per day. I could see a lot of these vitamin packs or pre-workout supplements containing the same amount of vitamin C as 5-10 oranges.

the customizer strongly advocates the following fruits for general health over any silly ass vitamin pack any-day (this is not a complete list however)
apples
oranges
blueberries
pears
pomegranates
red grapes
red wine (no homo_)
raspberries
blackberries
cranberries
limes
so there you have it, get your **** the way God intended

Emphasis on the **** because those berries are packed with fiber. I just picked up a nice berry blend from Sam's Club for $7 and it is 3 lbs. I think it is blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries all frozen and what not. I'll toss a 1/2 a cup or a cup into a blender and have a nice shake.

That right there could be your problem..overdosing on vitamins can do harm. I would cut all supps out for a week and let your body normalize...then take only a balanced multi

but animal pak is sooooooo cool. Not every day i get to take 11 vitamins and pee neon yellow. Man you are taking all the fun out of working out.
Fruit is for smoothies...thats the only time i want that much sugar.
