I been thinking about making what we call Sludge... When you take 2 Scoops Whey protein + Couple Table Spoons Almond butter OR Peanut Butter adding a little water and stir until ready... Ok it's ready to eat... My question is, would for some reason would it be a bad idea to put it in the microwave to heat it up??? I buy Optimum 100% Gold Standard and would this fly?? I know Optimum make a Product called Anywhey that's made to be heated up and cooked with... Would my regular 100% Whey protein be fine?? Is their such thing as protein powders you can't cook with??? I know they make ones that say you can cook with them.

I'm sure it would be fine, but excessive heats can denature protein, too what extent I'm not sure with a Whey Protein being microwaved.

considering microwaves take a lot of the nutrients out of vegetables when they are cooked in there wouldnt the microwave be just as detrimental to the protein?

If you just want it warm or mild hot, its ok. If you go with intense heat, it may denature from what i've heard.

I mixed it up tonight made some ON whey pudding... I just put it in the freezer after mixing for 10 minutes. What a treat
used the Extreme Chocolate milk flavor which is the best flavor you can get!!!!!

It will denature some important subfractions and biological properties, but the amino acids itself will sustain.
