looking forward to the man u match, i think they will win like last year. i hope ronaldo plays well, he gets lost in big matches.
it will be good to have 3 english teams in the semi's. i think liverpool will beat arsenal, liverpool have a bigger, stronger team and always do well in the cup. plus arsenal have lost it this year.
in other footy news. i hope southampton dont get relegated from the championship, they really dont deserve to. we'll see after the coventry vs sheff wed match

I knew Man Utd would today, their just too good for Roma at the moment. Barcalona won as expected, both away wins so i'd say it will definatly be a United/Barca semi final! Would make for some good entertainment, but i'd have to say Man Utd would go through by the look of form.
Arsenal vs. Liverpool tomorrow, im a MASSIVE Arsenal fan and i really do hope Arsenal pull off a result, i think after their game at Bolton at the weekend Arsenal might have abit of lift for the match.
Chelsea are lucky as hell, they got the easiest draw out of the lot with Fenerbache, i definatly think Chelsea will win, they are WAY too good for the turks, i'd definatly put my money on it being an All English semi final, who will be playing Chelsea is anyones guess though.

Yeah it would be a shame if Southampton got relegated, i do personally think their too good to go down, although we all said that about leeds. I've always had a little softspot for Southampton, esspecially when Matt Le Tissier was there he was quality. O and your the club who brought us the mighty Theo Walcott

Man United too strong for Roma. Both Man United and Barca set to meet against each other.

Le Tissier was a phenomenon.
not a bad match Man Utd v Roma. Roma done and dusted now though despite some great opportunities. Really im not sure how they missed some of those!
Tomorrow is where my heart is though and should be a monster game. l'pool have not won away at arsenal since like 02 i think but have been in decent form and always lift in the CL. Arsenal have had a lull of late despite being untouchable a month or so ago and will certainly be confident after the Bolton match.
I thinking it will be a classic match up - L'pool desperate to score, Arsenal desperate to win. Should be great.
Chelsea on paper should be way too strong but Istanbul is a great equaliser - that crowd is just something else.
l'pool 1-0
chels-fen 2-1

If Arsenal midfields can keep Masch occupied, you will see a free Adebayor or even RVP scoring. I'm guessing 1-0 Arsenal with Adebayor scoring.

I have a feeling Walcott will dominate for some reason. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, he will play a major role in Arsenal's goal.
I predict 1-0 to Arsenal
Arsenal: 2008 Champions League Winners
(Maybe I'm taking the lid off a bit early)

That would make me the happiest person around if that happened, think Man Utd look to good at the moment, its the best ive seen them in years.
Walcott has really started to play well recently, he was one of the factors of the turn around against bolton at the weekend, his pace is just immense.
Apparently in year 9 (what would mean he was about 14 i think?) he ran 100 metres in just over 11 seconds. You can tell he was a sprinter before he turned to football.

He won't start for sure but I see him coming the end of first half.
C'mon you Gunners!

Mascherano will contain fabregas.
Its not fabregas im worried about though, its the pace and passing of a collective arsenal .
European nights always end up with a liverpool win though!

Zico did a good job with your team but I don't see them defeating Chelsea. It might end up with a draw for the first leg.

huge blow that we're missing gokan gonul and the experienced roberto carlos
hopefully we can take advantage of our set pieces since cudicini and the chelsea defence have had trouble dealing with them in the past few games

we were a disgrace, we were handed a chance to do it aswel, all we had to do was win in russia and we screwed it up. i think it was a good thing we didnt get through, its a wake up call all the players and set up should look at. something needs to change.
i think liverpool will be too strong tonite for the gunners, i hope walcott plays well. i'm a big fan of van persie

Bollox 1-1
at the half. Arsenal need to bring on walcott. Eboue is doing **** all down the right.
In fact arsenal are getting dick all going down either wing. Apart from the goal Adebayor is doing nothing.

damn!! Life is just unfair!
what a joke Brendtner defends the liverpool goal and denies Arsenal their 2nd goal!!!! And what a ****ing refs!
You want to know how L'pool played this game, just read the ESPN gamecast commentator: Liverpool are such an enterntaining side. It's great to see them shut up shop at half-time. The beautiful game!!!!
Congrats to Fenerbahce, the first Turkish team to defeat an English side!

whoah - liverpool lucky to get out that with the draw. And an away goal puts them in good position going to Anfield! They are notoriously strong; at home, in the champions league and in the 2 half of a tie.
Will tak an impressive performance from arsenal to get through but they did play excellently today and certainly outplayed liverpool for the duration. They play some lovely football
edit: XAU - that was a definite penalty - cannot believe we got away with that! and neither could kuyt - you see his face after lmao

I know Roma wanted a rematch after the wh00pin they got last year..but..they shouldn't be surprised at the result. Its the same team + Anderson, Nani, Tevez, & Hargreaves so of course Roma got dealt with. on that note..the Italian league has just been garbage to me this year..I just hope Zlatan finds a way to end up a Red Devil..lmao..but that guy is a character
considering how disastrous things have been for Barca this year..I wouldn't be surprised if they were disappointed again..but..oh ok..I doubt it..
the Scousenation vs G00ners game was nice..even tho L'Pool got away with a penalty & Bentdner's dumbass forgot he played Forward for Arsenal instead of Centerback for Liverpool..stopping Fabregas's goal like that..
I didn't see the Chelsea game tho..but I heard they didn't score (the goal they got was an Own Goal)..so woooow..u mean to tell me they might've actually gone down 2-0 heading to the Bridge?? with all the quality on that team..that's just terrible..big ups to..who were they playing? Fenerhbarce?? whoever..pr0pz to them for handling Chelsea like that
