Diet for Not Working Out Anymore

I've decided that I might just want to do pushups and situps every other day for a while like I used to before I strated lifting. What kind of changes to the diet does this entail? 5' 8" 174.
    Thanks.

WTF are you talking about. I've been working out for a 1yr and a half. I started at 155 and am roughly 20lbs heavier. Don't mistake me for one of the noobs that thinks after a couple of months, he/she would be ripped. I know that stuff doesn't happen over night. You didn't even answer my question.

Should I still eat at maintenence?
Do I need the 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight anymore?

Keep your protein up but you probably won't need as many carbs nor a "weight training" maintenance amount of calories. I probably wouldn't make big changes at the outset rather gradually to allow you to assess the efficacy of the changes.

    Well, post your diet now.

If you have a weight gainer, just get rid of that. If you take 2-3 protein shakes a day, stop

up the protein to about 200 with some more whole foods, prob adding protein to meal 2 will bump it up..

it all depends on what your body can take. This week I'm trying a new experiment to cut some fat off me. I am water-fasting for 2 days, until weds night with running a few miles per day. It will be interesting to see how my body reacts.

Just out of curiosity, why would you not want to lift? In MY mind, there are no reasons to avoid lifting.
    On the individual:

His responses grow intelligent, or gain meaning, simply because he lives and acts in a medium of accepted meanings and values. Through social intercourse, through sharing in the activities embodying beliefs, he gradually acquires a mind of his own. The conception of mind as a purely isolated possession of the self is at the very antipodes of the truth.

All are lunatics, but he who can analyze his delusion is called a philosopher.

Sometimes I feel like I'm just burned out and a lot of days I feel as if I have to drag myself into working out. It seems more like an obligation now than it did when I started. For me, it's hard to continue doing something day after day and not seeing any positive outcome from it.

Shows a lack of energy and focus, coming from the diet,

doing pushups everyday wont make you big, it will just wear your muscle down and never let it grow.

Get your ass in the weight room and start hitting it hard.

It takes time you wont see results right away.. try doing pushups everyday, ull never see results, if you maintain a good full body program or a good split ull see results 100x faster

Yeah, your probably right. I gained like crazy in the beginning probably because of noob gains though.

This is what I have been doing every third day.

    Full Body

    Incline DB Press
    Lying DB Tricep Extension
    DB Shoulder Press
    Standing DB Curls
    Bent Over Barbell Rows
    DB Squats

Maybe Tuna for the 4th meal.
Don't know about the 2nd meal. I'm sick of chicken.
    Suggestion for the bedtime meal?

Honestly, I would say it sounds like you may have overtrained a bit and like the other guy said your diet may not have been exactly straight which the two of those could most definitely cause a " burned out " feeling. I felt like that too during my last cutting cycle, but I was running every single day, lifting every single day and still hitting my punching bag and such, on about 1400-1500 calories a day.

It wasn't like I couldn't get through the workout. I just questioned myself as if I'm actually building muscle or just throwing around weight. Maybe I'm just not eating enough to build muscle.
