    How do you grind your oatmeal (if you put it in shakes)

    I put everything in a blender, and it always just ends up still in chunks at the bottom of the blender/shake anyone got any tips?

    I just add a little water then add the oats and blend them first. Add just enough water to enable the oats to blend thoroughly. Once they have been blended I add the rest of the ingredients and more water until I've reached the desired thickness.

    I add them first and turn on blender on the highest setting, let it run for a minute and the oats become a fine powder, you might have to stop it once and push some of it down from the sides or top and blend again...then i add the whey, water, milk, fruit, ect and mix again..I tried a few different ways and this seemed to work best

    Just buy the Quick Quaker Oats. You still have to shake it up in between gulps, but they don't clump to the bottom like the old-fashioned ones do.

    When I used to "drink" oats, I would grind them to a fine powder in a coffee grinder.
    Or you could just buy oat flour....

    yea...if you add enough water, and let it blend for a good amount of time, it should be fine. but you have to drink it fairly quick, otherwise the oats will drop.

    you can also blend everything but the oats, and then when it is almost done, add the oats a little at a time from the top and they will blend up nice
