if you need a 3 day split like that, i'd go chest-tri, back-bi, and then shoulders and legs...or bett yet shoulders one day, then legs, then a day off so it takes up 5 days.
mon-chest,tri
tues- back, bi
wed - legs and shoulders
thurs - off
fri - chest, tri
sat - back, bi
sun - legs and shoulders
etc.
but a 4 day split, which could work better by giving you more time to rest some of those body parts, might be better for you. give each a try and see which one you respond to better.- Go Heavy or Go Home -

I workout 6 days a week, unless I feel like I need more time off, then I'll take it.
My best gains have come from a 6 day split, too many NOOBS swear by 5x5 routines, or fullbody splits, and they dont work after you stop being a noob..
Why do you think these same people whine about not gaining, or stay small for such LONG periods of time? Doesnt work.
True fact, you sticks need to recognize. LoL
Edit: Your routine is horrible though.Last edited by kneedamage; 03-28-2008 at 07:33 PM.

I work out 6 days a week for about an hour at a time this is my split:
Day 1-Back
Day 2-Legs
Day 3_Chest
Day 4-Arms
Day 5-Rest
Day 6-Repeat Day 1
I have torn cartilage in my shoulder so I only target my medial deltoids on chest days for only 4 sets. Traps are also worked on back day-Abs everyday
Hey man dont let these haters put u down, part of liftin is learnin as u go... Your split would be better if you did this
Monday-Chest Tris
Tuesday-Back Bis
Weds- Legs
Thursday-Rest
Friday-Chest Tris
Saturday- Back Bis
Sunday- Legs

Looks alright, but if your chest/tris or back are still sore and somewhat tired when it comes the second time to train them in the week you would be better off to just spend that time eating and getting extra sleep so you can repair and grow. If you train them too much and over train you will actually burn muscle you already have and get smaller, good luck.

I would think your overtraining yourself, and in the long run screwing yourself bro. My suggestion would be too work each muscle once a week. Try something like this...
1. Chest-Abs
2. Back-Bi's
3. Rest
4. Shoulders-traps-abs
5. Legs-tri
6. Rest
Make sure you give your muscles time to rest. Overtraining can be an irrtating thing.

I train 6 days a week, unless I feel like an extra day or two, which isnt very common..
6 days a week with MY split, have given me the best gains, strength and size, then ive ever had.
Anything to say to that, stick? You commonly go against what I say and NEG me a lot, but your a twig.. 6 inches taller and the same weight.. also have more bodyfat.. yep.. you know what your doing.
