Why shouldn't you eat carbs and fat together at a meal?
Carbohydrate intake causes the body to produce insulin. Insulin is a storage hormone. In the presence of insulin, the body cannot adequately perform lipolysis (the breakdown of fat for energy). Therefore any fat consumed with a high carb meal will be immediately stored rather than burned for energy. That is why theoretically you should not overconsume these two macronutrients in the same meal.
Keep in mind though that at the end of the day, it is the caloric deficit which determines fat loss. In other words, if you eat a meal high in fat and carbs, your body will store the fat initially. But if you are in a caloric deficit during the remainder of the day (when insulin levels are not elevated of course), you will mobilize and burn stored bodyfat.Enjoy the journey!

fats
i take in about 65 grams of fat a day 20 percent of total cals, i usually only take in one or two actual fat servings a day, usually a tbsp of peanut butter in the morning w/ my oatmeal and whey or on a pb and bannana sandwich which ends up with about 20grms fat. Then by the time i finish my other 5 meals i dont have room to add another real serving of a fat like oils, flax etc.
would u suggest keeping this fat until before bed with my cottage cheese?"Obsessed is a word that the lazy use to describe the dedicated"- gnc

why would u put fats into your post workout shake? all it does is slow down the digestion of the whey and the whole purpose of post workout shakes is to shuttle protein and carbs into the muscle
