Raw eggs
I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but is it okay to drink raw eggs rocky style? It seems to make more sense as it would save a lot of time. Although it is possible to get sick, it's safer with pasteurized eggs. Do any of you guys do it?

NO! The risks outweigh the benefits. Also cooking them breaks down some of the fats or what was said in another post.

really? And you just say that because it makes sense??
I actually read an article somewhere (don't recall where) that said the biggest concern with raw eggs is salmonella, and then studies have shown that the risk of getting that from raw eggs is even less than negligible.

You absorb like half the nutrients of a cooked egg. Do it if you want to.

Im a fan of eating them raw. They go down really smooth and tasteless.
The only "risk" is salmonella and the odds are something like 1 in 30,000 eggs that actually has it. So the odds that anything ever happens to me are very slim.

Salmonella's not an issue, especially if they're organic. I drink 6-24 raw daily.
