its not like its... Bodybuilding.com...
Generally you can work with any rep range for most goals.. (atleast hypertrophy and strength are very close together)
so If you are just starting out 3x5 rippetoes is ur best bet for like 5-6 weeks... Then do 5x5 (its an intermediate program) because at those rep ranges if ur just starting out youll gain mass and strength but when u get more advanced... like 3-6 reps is generally more for Power/Strength workouts and 8-12 is for hypertrophy for a body builder...
but either way start out with 3x5 rippetoes (few articles on this forum about it) then goto 5x5 (easily found on google) but make sure you know why ur doing what excercises and what they work... After that and then 5x5 for like 5-6 weeks... You can make ur own program and get a critique theres lots of helpful people on here... and if ur going for body building (Size, weight gain) then start off at 3x8 for a month then do 3x12, then do 3x10 and make sure you change it up every 4-6 weeks to "shock" you muscles becaue your body adapts to a workout.
also when shocking ur muscles u can change some excercises like if u do tricep pressdowns do skull crushers or extensions... and switch from DB/BB Incline Press, Bench Press, Shoulder Press to the other one and same for curls (lol)Legalize it and I will advertise it!
