Bully's Journey From Weak to Freak!

Today was that fateful day. A day unlike any other. A day filled with wonder and amazement.............
My journey has begun! I started the Rippetoe's starting strength program today. I didn't think it would be that tough. WRONG! I didn't think I was that weak. WRONG AGAIN! LOL Oh well, we all have to start/re-start somewhere. Here we go.

Todays workout:

5 min. w/u on the treadmill. 3.0 pace

Damn, I am a weakling! lol

I also added 2 new supps to my regimen! Both of them tasted like twice-baked, microwave reheated ass, but I know the first one was freaking intense! The first is Universal's Shock Therapy. Oh man. That's the only way to describe it. I hit the gym with tunnel vision! It was crazy to feel that focused. I walked through the door and it felt like a trigger was thrown in my body. My energy skyrocketed out of nowhere! It almost felt like a controlled roid rage. It was a little unnerving at first, but I embraced the feeling and became one with the animal I was becoming! LMAO The next was Optimum Nutrition's Vassive-CE. PWO, I didn't necessarily feel anything, but we'll see if it works. That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Also what is W/U and what kind of bar are you using? If you are using an Olympic bar it is 45lbs. Just wanted to clear that out cause your fist set of squats you state 65lbs so you had a dime on each side?

Why only 3 eggs? Why not up the eggs to 5 and remove the yolks? Less filling and more protein..

Well, I like the yolks! lol Plus, your body needs to get the cholesterol from the yolks for testosterone synthesis! haha I don't really know why I chose 3, it just works out better that way in the package, I guess? I recently read some different studies that showed that strength training athletes actually gain more strength and muscle mass from eating the yolks as well, than those that just ate the whites. Maybe it has to do with the test production, and the MCT's in the yolks. I can't recall the specifics of them right now though.

Naaahhhh man would you have did that if it was a set you was suppose to do? Meaning if you had a set to go would you say ahh man I don't feel like f'king with this and drop it down 80% and do 4 reps?

Consistency is key, you need to stay focus on EVERYTHING especially diet. Slacking off is a no no. No room for that. It would have taken you all but 5 minutes to make a shake!

You will get half ass results if you put in half ass efforts and that goes with diet as well...

Today will be interesting. I get to do my first "B" workout today and am looking forward to it. Legs are still a little bit sore from the squats in the "A" workout, but I will power through. My recovery has been rapid, and I've felt good! That's a plus! The tough part will be nutrition, as I have to leave the house to do my fun job! I own a company that runs itself, and then I work a couple days a week for fun at the motorcycle dealer. I'm fairly new to planning and packing food for the future, but I think I will be able to make some good choices, and if I don't, the John will be there to call me on my ****, come hell or high water! That's what makes him special! THANKS JOHN!
