MuscleMilk and Xtend for fat loss?
Seems like in my diet in my journal, I am not getting enough fat or calories. I am considering MuscleMilk. Do you think that would be wise if so when to take it? MuscleMilk Before workouts? Xtend before cardio? When are the best times to take these? Help.

Musclemilk is a waste of money imo
have some extra protein powder
I don't think xtend is going to give you any fats
it's a lean muscle builder

Yeah mix 3-4 scoops xtend and start sipping a few minutes before your workout, continue to sip throughout the workout and have the last few sips post workout. There are no cals in xtend and it's a great supplement.
Musclemilk is a no go in my opinion. There are a lot better products out there, better tasting and with a better ingredient profile.
Try Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide 2.0 Healthy fats without the sugar from MM.

ON 100% Casein?
ON 100% Casein? Would that be the same as Muscle Milk? Seems to have less fat than Muscle Milk but MM claims the fats are good fats that help make you leaner.

Excess calories make you "fatter" whether they come from protein, carbs, or fat. MM seems to be high on the caloric mark and doesn't really have a good macronutrient blend by combining carbs and fat. Typically you want to keep these fairly seperated while dieting.
If you want a decent protein powder that tastes good I'd look into Prolab Pure Whey, Labrada V60, Gaspari IntraPro, etc. These all taste good without being loaded with fats and sugars.

So, I guess the MM wouldn't be good even if I wasn't getting enough calories. Thanks for all the input.

No go on the MM imo it is garbage too. How about some omegas and CLA if you want some healthy fats. ON whey is great for pre and post workout.

I love Muscle Milk for their flavors. Awesome. It doesn't do jack sh*t for fat loss though.

I did not do well with Muscle Milk -- gainned weight and not good weight. I now take WPI -- not alot of flavor but I love it. This PRO powder along with diet and exercise is one of the best I have ever used.

Yes, Casein is a better choice. Im always on the run and theres never a drug store too far away so a RTD muscle milk is a regular part of my diet. I like the fact that it has vitamins in it, but I'd never use it in place of my regular protein powder in fear of too much vitamin and mineral intake.

You are 17 - just wait. On the run gets way worse in college and has only slowed down some for me after getting out into the real world. (I don't have kids - I imagine that's waaaaaaaaay worse than college.)
