    How many Days of Rest in between AB workouts???

    Just wondering what seems to work well.I have been working abs every 3 to 5 days.It differentiate's with me because I always have some sort of back pain.I just do crunches with a 10lb plate but my abs have been getting stronger with a strict diet.Also is there a best amount of time to rest in between sets or are ABS just like any other muscle??

    I usually rest 1 full day. So if I workout abs Monday, I rest the entire day of Tuesday and start again Wednesday.

    As for rest periods while actually doing the sets: I usually have less rest than other muscles to maintain intensity. You should usually keep it under 1 minute (I do 45 secs).

    yes abs should be trained the same as any other muscle, day on day off.
