    Are my macros right?

    First post.

    I used to be 16 years old, weigh 210 pounds and was 37 % body fat !!!

    Didnt want to be huge and wanted to do something about it. Started going gym 3 days a week, then getting fitter to now going most days.

    Im now 17 years old, 185 pounds and 20 % body fat.

    But now its getting tougher to loose the pounds so want someone to help check my macros are corect please. I have read the stickies but just need someone to check if they look fine.

    I want to loose more weight, my target is 167 pounds. Im 5ft 9.

    Maintenance - 2691 calories per day
    Fat loss - 2152
    Extreme fat loss - 1614

    Maintenance (2691 calories per day) - Carbs = 403 g per day
    Protein = 168 g per day
    Fat = 44 g per day

    Fat Loss and build muscle (1800 calories per day) - Carbs = 270 g per day
    Protein = 112 g per day
    Fat = 30 g per day

    Is this correct ? Protein seems very low. Or is aiming for 1800 calories not good ?

    Thanks

    no, i think you've miscalculated.
    at 185lbs, you want to be in the 2300 area, but again it depends on activity etc.
    protein should be 1g per 1lb, so 185g.. fat should be 0.5g for every lb.. so around 90g.
    use another calculator.
    If you're having curl problems I feel bad for you son, I've got 99 problems but a bench ain't one

    You should know formulas used to calculate BMR/TDEE are designed for fully developed adults. You are still growing so your caloric needs are different. As such, 1800cal/day is likely very near or below your BMR which is not a safe way to diet as a growing teen.

    Protein is too low, carbs seem too high, and fats are definetly way too low. Re-read the stickies and redo your macro composition.
