Eat more proteins and complex carbs. Invest in a weight gainer or whey product. If your playing O-line you need to be lean and fast enough to pull.
"Sometimes you just feel tired.
You feel weak and when you feel weak you feel like you wanna just give up.
But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
and just pull that s*** out of you and get that motivation to not give up
and not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse." -Eminem

Well if you like high fructose corn syrup, and having a a mix of more sugar than protein in your drink. I also hate the fact that Soy Lecithin has spurred a number of studies on its ability to increase estrogen. It does have maltodextrin, which is a very fast digesting simple carb for POW, but who knows how much is actually in there. It also has Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, which depresses the thyroid, and reduces energy.
All weight gain shakes are jokes in my opinion. They aren't adding on muscle, they only add on fat. I can take this from the people who say they gained 5-10 pounds of muscle in a week, even though it isn't scientifically possible for even the best of genes to gain a pound of dry muscle over the course of a week (proven countless number of times). You can have the exact same benefits, actually even greater benefits from eating the magical supplement known as food. There is a time and place for liquid drinks such as after workout to replenish your body as quick as possible, and liquid hits first, but for the most part people are taking these things during the day, not after a workout.Last edited by Fullback7; 03-25-2008 at 05:28 PM.
