    How much is to much fiber?? stomach discomfort help?

    I've been eating right for the 1st time in my life the last few months. I wanted to start getting more fiber into my diet.

    I bought some of the chia seeds to take after reading good reviews and i add 1 serving to my chicken and rice. It is 5 grams of fiber.

    Then i started taking superpump250 i have taken it before and Size on for the 1st time on thursday. The size on has 5g of fiber has well. I was taking white flood and green mag but wanted to try something new.

    Anyway i woke up friday morning with stomach discomfort it does'nt constantly hurt just hurts alittle with deep breath cough etc. Does'nt really feel like a pulled muscle but could be but i'm doubtful.

    I've been eating
    7am- chicken and brown rice w chia seeds-7g fiber
    9am- protein bar-6g fiber
    11am- 2 pieces fiber bread,natty p'nut butter,splenda jelly-16g fiber
    1pm-protein drink-0g fiber
    3pm-small cottage w/pineapple-it has 5 g fiber, i believe its the fiber ostic or whatever small container
    4pm-super pump 250 and size on-5g fiber
    6pm protein drink 2g fiber

    So I'm eating around 40g of fiber or atleast on thursday and friday I did.

    I've never consistently ate fiber like i have been.

    I added the fiber bread last week and the size on thursday. Woke up friday morning with a slight stomach discomfort. I did'nt eat hardly any fiber yesterday or today on purpose but i still got alittle discomfort almost like i'm binded up or backed up lol..

    It is recommended to increase fiber intake slowly over several days so that your body can become accustomed to it. I personally eat 50+ grams of fiber a day and don't have any discomfort, but I've been doing so for a long time. Did the stomach pains start right when you started consuming more fiber? If so, lower your intake and then increase it over the next few days.

    HONESTLY I NOTICED IT FRIDAY MORNING i started eating more fiber on monday with chia seeds and added the double fiber bread on tuesday or wednesday. The only thing i took different was the Size ON that thursday it had 5g fiber in it then woke up friday with the minor stomach discomfort.

    It is'nt a bad or unbearable stomach pain just annoying and its noticeable.

    I waited till late last night before taking the size on and hardly ate anything yesterday to see if it would help but it did'nt i still have discomfort.

    yeah i drink nothing but water but i should be drinking more. I'm gonna jump on that immediately.

    Not sure what it is i've switched up my vitamins and everything this past week. It could be a slight muscle strain but i doubt it i did legs thursday.

    It hurts when i take a really deep breath,sneeze etc.

    I've had relief twice today and seem to have alot of gas on my stomach.

    I'm not gonna take any supps today or much fiber today and hope it clears up.
