best i've done is when a telemarketer calls you, listen to w/e they have to say. Then ask for the person's home number! If they keep giving you the company number, keep asking for the home number. then finally say "Oh! So I guess you don't like to get bothered at home!" For some reason there is always a long ackward silence at this point!

thats so lame. i've worked a few telemarkting jobs when i was younger that doesnt phase anybody. you think your clever for saying that. they hear all the time. they dont care. the silence if probably them rolling their eyes. the only people who really know how to mess with telemarketers are those who have worked as one themselves.
