I love Dream Theater's James LaBrie, and also Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden. I really like all those squeaky Power Metal vocalists too, like Hammerfall and DragonForce. And Hansi K?rsch from Blind Guardian, it might not appeal to everyone but I think it's something else, really special. Not sure what effects he uses but he definitely has something going on that no one else that I know of has.

I used to think James Hetfield was the Sh&t but in truth he is slowing loosing his vox... check out his early 80s Fade To Black off @ Utube.com. then check out his live version you can hear the diffrence. Hes losing it . Plus the guitars are down tuned to flat these days to keep his voice from sounding even worse. He cant hit his mid highs any more! This probably the reason everyone wants the old Metallica but lets face it, its never not going to sound like that again. (without the help from a digital voice machine) I think Old School Hetfield kicks ass though!!
