Goodness man! What have you been eating?!?
Your arms look huge in the after picture, mind sharing your secrets?
Your still a thick guy but you have a lot better muscle now showing.
Nice work.

Thx for the comment. No secrets lol. I went from 255lbs to 170lbs With mostly cardio and really very little lifting. Then I was skinny and didnt wana be fat again so I was kinda afraid to eat.I started reading about nutrition and slowly applying what a learned.
I train my biceps once a week and do 12 sets. Starting out with reps of 12 to 14 usually finishing with reps around 6. Every set is till fail. I do them on the same day as shoulders.
Triceps I will do 15 sets one day a week.
I always start with the hardest exercise first(Meaning I can move the most weight) I believe this Makes me tire sooner leaving me weaker for my later sets therfore keeping the weight I can lift down. But still completly exausting the muscle. I like getting maximum results off of less weight. I feal it helps lower my chances of injury. I do not use momentum and engage the muscle rite from the start while trying to maintain the flex through the entire movement. I train all my muscles the same. when a hit a point where gains are not seaming to be my friend I switch up my exercises. The ones a strugle on I replace with something else and eventually go back to them.
monday 15 sets of chest and 12 sets upper back
Tuesday 12 sets of biceps and 12 sets shoulders
Wed 15 sets abs and hit my heavy bag
Thursday 15 sets of tri and 10 sets of chest(mostly reps for chest)
Saturday I squat 6 sets,Deadlift 5 Sets, calfs 10 sets,Back ext 6 sets,Abs 5 sets. I really need more for my legs but am coming off an injury and just getting going again.
I do alot of super sets. Like by that I mean. A set of biceps and then a set of shoulders. I dont rest much because a feal my biceps are resting while I am doing my shoulder set..

Looks like some good progress there but that routine is pretty messed up. That's a lot of volume and why do you train chest and bi's so much????

is 12 sets on biceps too much? The thursday chest 10 sets are pushups and other fairly easy exercises. I used to use alotta shoulder when I benched and my chest showed it. I guess I am just trying to get it up to speed maybe. I think what works for me may not work for somebody else. And hey I Do not know it all. I used to 15 sets biceps and when I droped to 12 I think they grew better. What do you suggest? How many is A good number and why? I will take all the help I can get

I'd recommend getting on a standard program asap, that routine doesn't look so great. Check out the 5X5 or some other push pull routines. I don't know everything either so I use tried and true methods.
