    I do this every morning man. 1 cup oatmeal, 2 cups water, 8 mins in the microwave and little milk and brown sugar. I'll put raisens and banana's in sometimes aswell.

    Are you talking about the pre-manufactured, processed stuff?

    If so, it would be much healthier to buy whole oats and add honey and cinnamon. It will taste so much better and is far healthier.

    Buy quick oats. Add milk and microwave. Very easy, and very good! I even add a scoop of protein powder sometimes.

    get real steel cut or plain oats, cook it with milk in the micro, and add splenda or honey

    1st to answer question:

    not in comparison to the bags of plain oats, since the packs you speak of contain wayy too much sugar.

    plain oats + sweetener = wayyy better.
    or look for other recipes on here, like above
