Crazy Intense Workout! Almost Threw Up!
Just had the hardest workout of my life, both mentally and physically. This is an awsome workout for any fighter. I have a sports performance team that I train with from crossfit and this is what we did today. Try it out. No brake in between all of this.
3 sets of:
2 thirty yard sprints and back peddles
Lunges with bench bar at 100lbs for 30 yards
keeping weight on back from lunges into 5 back squat with shoulder press
to 5 back squat without shoulder press with weight
keeping weight on for front squats with shoulder press for 5
to 5 front squat without shoulder press with weight
2 more thirty yard sprints and back peddles
then grab 35 lbs kettle bells and go into push up to a deadlift with a shrug for 10 reps
Then grab weight bar and hold above head and walk 30 yards
keep holding bar above head for over head squats for 5 reps
Then 10 pull ups on gymnist rings
then 10 ab wheels
finish with 30 yard ball crawl
INTENSE!
Jared

Man, I got tired just reading that ****, lol!
Is there a video demonstration of this, since you said Crossfit?
Whenever I read it, I always get something wrong. I'd probably pick it up better after viewing it.
Seriously though, it sounds rough!

I've hit the 'almost thrown up' intensity, but it was back when I first started working out. So much more easier to hit then when you are a lazy ass.

Bro, by far crossfit type workouts are insane....and if your doing em right they'll make ya want to puke almost every time.....and btw, there is no way I could complete 3 rounds of what you did, congrats! Im just getting started in/with crossfit.....my routine now is BJJ X 2 a week, weights once......basic lifts like squat, dead, bench, dips, pullups, mil presses, and then one day of interval cardio. I try and add some crossfit stuff everyonce in a while also. So far its whippin my sorry ass, I've spent the last 10yrs or so trying to tack on weight, now im trying to stay functionally strong and be in good cardio/endur shape for BJJ.

If it is the typical crossfit, there are no rest periods. You perform the routine as fast as possible and time it. The next time you perform this routine, the exercises and poundage stays the same. What you try to do is beat the time of your previous performance.

Exactly! you just simply try to beat your times. The only time you rest is when you can barely breath or get a cramp.haha

Where do you have 30 yards to run, kettle bells, weights, and gymnist rings?
