Is it ok to have creatine Monohydrate with protein shake?? (Trying to bulk up/gain)
Hi all.. I'm trying to gain weight, the actual target is around 10kg but i guess that will take time. Anyhow, I have come up with a diet plan of 6 meals per day. I was thinking a pre workout and post workout protein shake. Is it ok to add creatine monohydrate drink too pre workout and post workout?? Or is that too much?
So just add it in the protein shake? will that taste ok? because my protein shake is chocolate and the creatine stuff is fruity?? Also, what about the loading on creatine? Should i just do it for a week? and then leave it for a month? How should i do it?
It should tell you what to do on the label. IMO, I would stack it, twice a day for the first 7 days, then just take it before you workout or in the morning on your off days. As for the protein, I would take it in the morning, every morning, and after you workout on your workout days. I hope it helps.
fruity creatine? then u prolly dont want to mix it with the protein shake, drink it seperate or the protein shake gonna taste like total ass. so.. slam a protein shake... then... mix the creatine with some water... slam that... or buy unflavored creatine mono and mix THAT with the protein and slam that. what protein/creatine did u get?
I got the Creating Monohydrate from Sci-mx (Use to be USN). Well, i haven't actually ordered it yet but i have tasted it before and it tastes quite nice lol. So, how about the loading stuff? Should i take it for 5 days straight? and then stop for how long? Also, do i take it on non training days cos i train every other day.
Lol. I got two replies saying different things. One saying 5g and one saying 3g. Anyhow, when do i stop taking the creatine? Surely, it cant be a good idea to keep taking it. Right?
a few threads lately have talked about the benefits of taking creatine ONLY on training days, not to load, and that there is no benefit to cycling creatine on/off.
