Hey Everyone im 19 Yrs old and im currently getting into figure and bodybuilding I just wanted to know whether its ok to have things like prunes to eat??? Im working out 6-7 days a week lifting 5 days and doing cardio 90 mins (minimum) everyday! Im currently eating around 1100-1200 calories and im looking to get ripped! Im eating a low-medium carb diet around 55-70 grams per day, when should i notice some change in my body, its day 20 and i have noticed some more definition in my arms and legs but because i have fat covering my muscles there not as defined as i would like them to be, how long should it take to lose the fat and notice some dramatic changes??? Thanks guys you rock x

Geez girl, you are not eating enough to do anything but put your body in a metabolic starvation mode. You need to go to terracotta's site and do some reading and use the calculators http://www.hotnfit.com/
And prunes are fine.

You are doing WAY too much cardio and not eating enough at all! Check out Terra's site! It will be helpful to you!

OP, if you're battling an ED right now, you shouldn't be doing ANY cardio, and you really shouldn't be trying to lose fat. If you're serious about getting past your ED, you need to be gaining fat and muscle under the tutelage of a dietician. Even terra's website, which is awesome, won't be appropriate for you if you still think you have 'fat on your arms'. Sorry to be blunt, and I don't mean to offend, but trying to lose anything right now just isn't appropriate or healthy.

I agree with gfundaro, I checked out your profile blog and you burned 1,650 calories in one 2 hour cardio session! I'm no doctor, but I do know that, that is unhealthy. I do applaud you for recognizing your problem and trying to fix it. Just...maybe you'll need more support to fix it...(i.e., nutritionist, doctor's supervision). Also, I know that somewhere here (guys...help me) there's a forum started for ED Awareness month. I'm new here so I really don't know my way around too much. But I stumbled on it...and you'd be surprised how many of us here have either suffered with ED in the past or are currently suffering with ED. I wish I could remember where I saw it. Perhaps if you do a "search this forum" and type in ED it'll lead you there. It's hard for me to be of much support, cuz I have the exact opposite disorder...it's called "can't get my lazy a$$ off the couch syndrome!"...be careful..it's contagious! Good luck to you...and don't give up...you're going to be killer with some more muscles over that nice frame of yours! Joyce

I totally agree. Build some muscle girl, you'll need alot more to compete in a figure competition. You're starting out pretty thin as it is....start eating around 1800 to 2000 calories and lift heavy! (Or do the calculators for calories)....then if you need to do some cardio do it on your off days from lifting but no more than 30 minutes. You wont to preserve those calories and those muscles.....Glad you are working against your ED. Good for you.
