I was just wondering how much hot sauce you guys use on a daily or weekly basis....I go through a big bottle of hot sauce per week and I put hot sauce on pretty much everything I eat (meat, veggies, sandwiches, even salads sometimes) and was just wondering how much hot sauce people use? Also, I hope I don't get flamed for this since this is a hypothetical question, but would anyone consider counting hot sauce in there macros if they used a bunch of it every day? I don't count hot sauce or mustard since it says 0 calories on the bottle per serving, but was just wondering if people actually do? Also, plan on eating some pork chops soon with lots of hot sauce

I know it isn't 0 calories but in 1tsp of frank's red hot it says 0 calories on the bottle so there is no point in worrying about the calories....i looked it up on their site and for 3.5oz of hot sauce it is only 11 calories so ya not really too worried about it. Was just wondering how much hot sauce people use since I love it...(in before too much sodium).

I need to try sriracha cause I have heard it is absolutely incredible. Usually just get frank's red hot since it is all I have ever had and don't really like tabasco as much.....Also, since I am moving down to school here in a few weeks and will finally be buying my own groceries I think I am going to start buying some WF products....I love ketchup but used to easily eat at least 2-3 hundred calories in ketchup per day so was just wondering if there ketchup is anywhere close to normal ketchup or no? Honestly all I have read on these boards is that the maple syrup/chocolate are decent but everything else kinda sucks, but I have been craving some different sauces lately that are calorie friendly since I am only eating about 2250-2400 calories per day.

Ha, know that feeling. Although, I threw them on some scrambled eggs the other day and remembered why I loved it. Salsa is still better on 'em though. Nothing is better on a fully loaded up omelette than some spicy, chunky salsa(preferably freshly made).
Edit: I know what I'm eating for my first meal tomorrow.

I use only two drops of hot sauce. its called 15 minute burn. Look it up. You don't know hot sauce until you've tried 15min burn.

...and the great thing is, @ only two drops, its virtually calorie free, and the bottle will last months.Livestrong!

YES! I love this a Frank's LOVE page pretty much. Frank's is the best there is nothing better. That being said no need to even worry about the sodium in it unless you have a condition where you need to limit salts. Many people believe lots of sodium bloats you etc., but that all depends on YOU, and how much your usually consuming on a daily basis.

I am glad to see everyone loves hot sauce on this site. I seriously use it on everything and Frank's is awesome....kinda curious about the chipotle stuff you were talking about hunter. I def. wanna try that as well since from all the nutrition threads I read on this site you are very knowledgeable when it comes to anything involving food. I have always been impressed by your protein based recipes like pancakes, muffins, etc....especially since I am so bad at cooking.
What I have been doing lately is adding cottage cheese as a salad dressing and then putting hot sauce on the cottage cheese. Definitely makes salad way more enjoyable to eat.

I assumed he was talking about some kind of southwest chipotle sauce. It is certainly delicious and one of my favorite and most versatile sauces. It is not as low cal as hot sauce though.
He could be referring to a brand of hot sauce, though.
Edit: Maybe - - This appears to be the same calorie wise as Frank's.
