The Gym you go to - How much did you pay for your membership?
How much did you pay for it?
I'm just trying to compare price.
A normal Gym is $110 for about 3 months membership, and $360 for a whole year. (Something like that according to the Currency Converter).
And the most expensive and 'sophisticated' gym, which I would never go to, is about $750 for a year. Too flipping expensive!
So, how much do you pay?

$60 a month for normal members but I'm a corporate member so I pay $25, still pretty high. My college gym for next year is $250 a year.

$250, wow, a much more reasonable price! Why has it got to be over here where the prices are sky high dammit!

Mate i'm being jerked around.
$90 a month, $21.95AUD per week. Its ****ing ridiculous. The only reason i pay it is because of convenience. This chain has a gym close to my uni and to my house.
The gym itself but is nothing short of ordinary. No decline benches, no seated row, DB's only go up to 50kg (110lbs), no hyperextension machine. The only plus is that it has air-con.
Man i hate aus prices.

$110 for the 3 months isnt bad. It'd be $180 for me if I wasnt corporate and my gym isnt even that nice. Theres other gyms in my area for cheaper but I'd rather pay the extra $10 a month for not having to wait in line for the squat racks.

$39/month I can't wait for Planet Fitness to become more prevalent so that my gym will reduce rates to compete. Free market FTW.

24 hour fitness was $700 or $750 for 2 or 3 years (can't remember) but then $49/year after that. I figure pay that lump sum, then it's practically free after that.
