My upper body is smaller than my lower body

i been doing squats and deadlift but it occurred to me and i was told this before that i have bigger lower body and smaller upper body. I know that squats and deadlifts are good for the whole body but if i continue doing them i dont think ill correct this or create a balance. Should i slow down on those exercise? and focus on upper body exercises more?

X2 an Overpowering Lower body is better than an overpowering Upperbody, see too many guys at the gym not working legs

I would say the vast majority of guys at my gym dont work legs or think a set of leg extensions is a leg workout

I have the same problem, born mostly from squatting like crazy as a youngster for sprinting and not doing much upper body then

These days i dont work legs as hard as upper body is still lagging behind, so prioritise and focus more on your upper body

But dont forget a good set of squats etc will trigger an allround anabolic effect so never neglect them totally
    Everyday is a lesson. Listen.

    Prioritize upper body lifts.

Start doing them twice a week, for example. Imbalances will solve themselves with proper training methodology.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

what if its just your perspective that your legs are too big, because everyone else you see has small legs. so subconciously you think that underdeveloped legs are actually proportional?

usually when i have a muscle lagging like shoulders, chest, arms ect i will throw in another workout for it each week or add soem dropsets. For this though i would not suggest working the entire upper body twice a week.

I would recomend you just cut back on your leg routine a little, aim for maintaining leg development and continue to build your upper body as much as possible.
you wanna know how i did it, this is how, i never saved anything for the swim back.

I love my girl for this. She was a professional ice skater (competed in the French Nationals). Huge legs and ass and toned upper body. WOOO HOOOO!
You want to work on something specific, you have to prioritize it.

You're in the same boat as me. Like it has been said, a bigger lower-body is way better than having a bigger upper-body.

To get rid of the imbalance, put more emphasis on your upper-body lifts. I know you must love doing squats and lunges like me but also try loving the bench, military presses and rows.
