    How many FULL eggs a day???

    I have heard alot of people say that eating full eggs are bad because of the fat/cholesterol. A recent book purchase says otherwise.

    My question is how many full eggs can you eat a day without doing any harm to your self? I eat the omega enriched eggs.

    Whole eggs are fine. In fact, I am eating mine as I type. I eat 3-4 eggs a day with 2 pieces of whole wheat hearty texture full grain bread. Yum-yum!

    Let me clarify something for you

    Only dorks eat egg whites. A guy training naturally needs whole eggs. What about the reported health concerns? Well, the studies that showed eating eggs raised cholesterol were done by the cereal board. And back then they didn't differentiate between the types of cholesterol, so the studies were invalid. Eggs canraise cholesterol ? HDL, the good cholesterol. If you're going to have them, don't be a pansy.


    Testosterone is derived from cholesterol. There's no other way for your body to produce it naturally. So if you're skimping on cholesterol you can be certain you're short-changing one of your body's most powerful muscle-building hormones. Egg whites, petrified chicken breasts, and other foods that are basically void of any cholesterol should be avoided. A carnivorous diet is key to getting enough cholesterol.


    Whole eggs, beef, shrimp, cheese, and other cholesterol-rich foods are essential to maximizing Testosterone.

    What about the potential health ramifications of cholesterol-rich foods? The latest research is demonstrating that we may have been dead wrong with cholesterol. There appears to be very little correlation between cholesterol intake and bad cholesterol in your blood. This is especially true when carbs are minimized (as they should be). Also, it's currently being demonstrated that people with higher cholesterol levels tend to live longer.

    i eat 3 whole eggs in 2 of my meals and i have one egg inbetween each of my 6 meals so i total about 11/day and my cholesterol is 170

    Then again, there are those of us (like myself) who genuinely don't care for yolks. I love egg beaters and egg whites.

    If you're watching your caloric intake, egg whites are a great way to eat a ton of protein with only a few calories.

    Oh, and I eat about 6 eggs (equivalent) for breakfast every morning.

    regardless of medical papers and published studies, too much of anything is harmful in the long run. I don't want to preach to you but 10 day? c'mon man use some common sense here...

    As for myself, I usually get my needed protein intake from other sources, but if I absolutely must I will eat max 3-4 whole eggs in one day

    i eat one whole egg a day, but i'm hoping to start eating more. at least get it to 2 or 3...then up from there. i friggin love a hardboiled egg with just a little hot sauce for taste...

    Nah, it's good stuff. You can make some MONSTER scrambled eggs or omelets . I made an omelet last night with 5 eggs and 4 egg whites and some tobasco and peppers, the thing barely fit on my largest dinner plate lol.

    yeah i hate that, none of the plates in my house fit an omlette unless i fold it into half, i cant lay it out or else it overlaps my plates

    anyways whole eggs should not be negated the yolks are healthy fats and we all need sat fats in our diets

    the vitamin/nurtients they possess are too good to just THROW in the garbage,

    go buy a tub of egg beaters and use that for your egg whites, and save your whole eggs and put them to use

    Sorry bud i rly dont know who john berardi is or his education but my Registered Nutritionist professor has taught me other wise...cholersterol is NOT an essential nutrient meaning our body makes it...

    Cholersterol is a pre-curser to bile, we make it and rly dont need it...cholersterol is also risen mostly not by the intake of it but by sat fats/trans fats and lack of soluable fiber as well as an active lifestyle..


    Point is eat eggs and be happy if you want to build muscle. Only problem i find is my girlfriend hates the farts i send her way.

    my entire diet consists of only eggs. sometimes i eat a couple shells for fiber

    breakfast:5 eggs
    snack: 5 eggs
    lunch: 5 eggs
    snack 5 eggs
    preworkout: 4 eggs
    intra workout: 6 raw eggs
    post: 6 eggs
    dinner: 6 eggs
    before bed: 6 eggs

    48 eggs per day FTW

    Just came up with this one this morning for breakfast:

    Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Tortillas (made of sprouted grains - theyre in the Kroger organic section on the OTHER side of the store) which is EXTREMELY low glycemic (I believe around 36)

    with

    1 scrambled egg

    and

    cheese

    wrapped up into a burrito. Oh baby. It was delicious. Eggs + slow burn carb + cheese (for fat). All of them contain protein so you get lots of protein and diverse ones at that.


    Other than that is lean chicken, turkey burgers, and occasionally shrimp (pure protein, no fat)... delcious. Cheese for saturated fat intake, when needed.
