a couple hundred for that instead of a whole set of DBs is good
and you can buy a few of the REALLY heavy ones if you need to

I saw a set at Costco the other day. They went up to 95 pounds in each hand, and they were about $700 for everything. Suddenly I'm thinking they wouldn't be a bad idea.

all you do is slid the slider to the number you want and thats what u lift..
or the bowflex = turning
* pull up then slid for the slider ones *

its a locking / changeing the weight of the system. if i pull it up and slid it it will leave the weight in the stand and it will then lock on to the next number = weight.
1-2-3-4 if i pull to 3 = 3 pounds and 4 will be off.
as bowflex is nicer as i just have to turn it and thats it. very fast.
* as you see in the pic that red thing pull it up then slid it to anthor number*

When I picked them up, it just seemed alittle bulky to have the 5lb weights the same size as a 50. I can understand if you are strict on space though. They also feel like they are going to fall apart in your hand.
