Haha ya the colors are pretty cool, but hes selling it for only $90, and I think its quite inexpensive. But I want to know if its a good bench.

it says competitor. they are cheap and dont look very sturdy. also the standard bar and concrete weights arent very good either. i suggest olympic bar/plates and a decent olympic sized bench(look on craigslist.com)

neon green bench sets are a big no-no. everyone knows neon sucks.

I had a Competitor bench very similar to the one shown (the colors weren't as cool, tho). Its max weight was 300 lbs. total, so I could only safely lift 120 pounds on it! Very shaky, not good construction.

Get an Olympic set. You can often get really nice used benches on Craigslist for around $50, and a decent weight set for a little over $100.

If you do go with a cheap starter set like the one shown, hold out for a better deal -- I wouldn't pay over $50 for that.

i own a competitor and its a peice of **** but it gets the job done.

the bench bars are now REALLY crooked, the thing rocks to and frow when you have heavy weight on it
