There's been interest in a few Canadian Islands already. The main downside I see with this one is that it's only 3.8 acres.

If Ryan makes an account and everything is legit i'll happily put in a hundred

Amazing idea...if you could get the idea up and running, and if it makes the national (or even local) news, then a lot of people would start making donations.

Its a long shot, but if it does make news, a lot of industry leaders would probably donate in hefty sums...maybe even the great Arnold?

dont bother...basically alot of ideas were thrown around and ryan said he would support us by managing the money and donating $100,000, but it will be renamed bodybuilding.com island....

on april 12th we will start voting on whether to buy the island with everyone donating the same amount, or everyone donating however much they want and the more you donate the more votes you have....either way, the island itself will be owned equally....

we also found a few islands to purchase, but it all really depends on how many people we have, and how much we can afford, so thats why everyone needs to get in that thread and post....we can also get a more accurate idea of how many people we have....

did i leave anything out guys??

Ryan will be in charge of the money so you dont have to worry about getting ripped off....

the other forum was created to bring organization....and it has, it literally takes 1 minute to register....and we will have many things to vote on in the future and thats where all the polls will be in order to keep this organized.....

no its not...unfortunately...its been tried a couple of times already.....it keeps getting lost and its too difficult to keep them bumped....i dont mean to be a dick or anything but why not register at another forum??

yes i do and here is why...go back a page and you will find ryan askng about a website that can be setup to take donations...and that along with the other posts that ryan has made in this thread tells us that he is very serious about helping us with this, and right now it seems he might be in the process of setting up that donation website....now if more people would cooperate and quit being negative, this would go alot smoother....just so you know, this is probably going to take at least a year to accomplish....just so you know and your not popping in here everyday saying, get a 100,000 yet...which if your not aware, ryan did say he would put in a $100 grand.....
