Need some help.
Okay, I'm 17 years old and a junior in highschool. I would like some opinions about what I should do.
I'm about 6'2 or 6'3 and I highjump in track and play quarterback for my football team. I was pretty successful in track my sophomore season. My personal best was 6'6" and I got 6th in the state for division 1 which receives all-state honors. In football I was also pretty successful I passed for over 2,000 yards and threw for 15 touchdowns and received honorable mention all-ohio for division 2. I only weigh around 150 pounds right now and would like to gain weight for football, while at the same time keeping my flexibility and things needed for highjump.
Would lifting and getting stronger just help with highjump? I would like to get up to 175-180 pounds. Any advice on supplements? I currently take a whey protein which consists of 52 grams of protein and also creatine. I have currently thought about getting off of the creatine though because I feel the water retention would give me unwanted weight which would hurt when highjumping.
Would a prohormone like cellucor's p6 be a dumb idea?
