Perhaps, but I have no real way of telling what tha quality controls are for other companies. I only know what standards tha company I work for currently has in place.

Without a doubt Xtreme feels Micellar Casein is tha best form of casein currently available and is why it is used in our Ultra Peptide formulas.

Interestingly, they also found that feeding the animals the same levels of plant based protein (gluten and soy) did not at all promote cancer growth.
Most farm animals are not meat / animal protein consumers to begin with and is something to also consider. Customizer is a big advocate for grass-fed, organic animal products.

That site promotes becoming vegan, which can cause other health problems. Off the top of my head vegans often have iron, calcium, vit d, vit b and iodine deficiencies.

Could casein potentially increase cancer growth? Sure, so could whey, egg, soy, pea, architoke and any other protein source you can think of... FOOD in general can increase cancer growth as it supports tissue and cell growth.

Casein itself however is not carcinogenic by nature.

well like their whey, which most people like, the MAIN INGREDIENT IS MICELLAR CASEIN this means at least 51 percent of the pretein is micellar casein so yea if ur lookig for a new protein u could try true protein micellar casein, im kinda suspicious of their company seeing as their internet based, and when reading their forums, i saw people complaining of how their proteins looked and tasted different from the last time they ordered im sure their just another dynamatize or protein factory company. but im just paranoid if u feel that its a good alternative u should check it out or if u can stil lafford it stick with the up 1.0 from what ive seen looks much better than 2.0!

does anybody know if any retail stores sell xtreme formulations products i checked their site and it doesnt sayy.(shipping sucks, and im kinda weary of buying craPp online too LOL

We have very few retail stores at this time. IMHO it's best to buy direct from us or bodybuilding.com

Either way I guarentee you'll get your shipment.

i havent looked in about a week, sp dpnt yell at me if im wrong =p but how come on the xtreme formulations site, it cost soooo much more than on bb.com? that makes 0 sense. also i have a question i read an article a year ago that said that whey/casein blends were stupid. it said the two cancel eachothers positive effects. it said the casein slows down the whey and the whey sppeeds up the casein. thoughts?

First, look at other companies websites. 99.9% of them will have products more expense than bb.com ie. MSRP (Manufacture's Suggested Retail Price). It makes 100% sense from a business aspect... black star labs instead.

Second, you'll read a lot of things off tha net. Not every thing you read is true. If that way indeed true, our formula would not be what it is. Mostly complex carbs and fiber is what slows protein digestion times down significantly IMO. Everthing else is splitting hairs so an extent.

I've never tried it so I couldn't say. I'd request a sample to see if you have problems before ordering a tub of ON Casein.

There is more to it than what I'm about to say but it's late and I'm tired, so quick example... a company sells their own products cheaper than bb.com. bb.com is in tha business to make money. Why would bb.com buy a companies products to sell if said company is constantly going to undercut them? bb.com would make no money. Companies generally like bb.com services as they can reach more people than selling just out of Headquarters. That's another reason why you obtain distributors... but that doesn't work if you're going to undercut them and sell your own product cheaper than your own prices you've set forth and established via MSRP.
