Snapping in my knees while squatting.

I have been doing judo for roughly 9-10 years..im only 18 ..but I've been noticing this snapping noise in my knees while I squat. Judo is generally rough on the knees and I know this problem is judo related..but what causes this snapping sound? Ty

Tight tendons. Try warming up your knees before lifting. You can also look into supplements like fish oil, or glucosamine to help.

Glucosamine helps with joint stiffness but I'd look more into doing a dynamic warmup before you workout. Even some foam rolling around that area could loosen you up.
