Which is the best Wrestlemania ever?
I have been watching a lot of the past Wrestlemania's lately and I was trying to figure out which one is the best? I've narrowed it down to between WM3-WM6. The older ones in my opinion are the best ones. Just wanted to get some opinions

Amen to that! I'll go along with WM3 also. Next on my list would be WM5.

I really loved VIII, but I'd guess a lot would disagree with me.

That one match doesn't save the rest of the trainwreck of a PPV it was though IMO. One of the best matches in WWE history, but the rest of the event sucked.

WOW can't believe 19 hasn't been mentioned.
5 main events in one night, card stacked all around, killer atmosphere. A pure WRESTLING match as a main event.
Wrestlemania 22 has been one of the worst in a long time IMO.

It's so hard to say what was the best, but, I'm going with WM 22 because the Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon match was well over the top.
You could literally see Shane's hair turn grey as Michaels jumped from that ladder.

17 without a doubt. Solid card throughout, and a huooge heel turn at the end of a great match between two of the biggest stars in WWE history. What more could you want?

1. WM 17- Austin vs Rock, Undertaker vs HHH, TLC Match, Angle vs Benoit, Shane vs Vince.
2. WM 19- Angle vs Lesnar, Jericho vs HBK, Vince vs Hogan, Austin vs Rock, HHH vs Booker.
3. WM 3- Not so much for the wrestling but for the atmosphere but it did have Savage vs Steamboat and some decent undercard matches.
4. WM 10- Bret vs Owen, HBK vs Razor, Crush vs Savage.
5. WM 13- Austin vs Bret, LOD/Ahmed vs NOD, Owen/Bulldog vs Mankind/Vader.
Avoid the following- WM 2, WM 4, WM 5, WM 9, WM 11, WM 14, WM 15.

I'd have to go with either WrestleMania III, XVII, or XIX. Those were the ones that had event from top to bottom.
III was the spectacle of all spectacles, had Steamboat vs. Savage and the 'Slam heard 'round the world' in the biggest main-event of all time.
XVII was one of the most solid cards WWE has ever put on PPV including a phenomenal main-event with a killer turn.
XIX I got to be at in person, not to mention another solid card featuring plenty of really good (though maybe not a stand out 'great') matches.
Most WrestleManias suffer from only having 1 match worthy of mention and lots of duds or unimportant ones. V had Hogan/Savage in a great main but not much else, VI had another big Hogan main-event but no serious undercard support, XIII had Hart/Austin keeping an otherwise dreadful show afloat, and XVIII was Hogan/Rock in a huge (and good) match but nothing else that really stands out...
The only Manias that I felt had almost nothing to offer in terms of rewatchability are II, IV, and XI. II was disjointed, IV was a tournament with a main nobody expected (or wanted), and XI was so forgettable that the only memorable moment is Lawrence Taylor bulldogging Bam Bam Bigelow in what should not have been the main-event on the card.

Most of them have some decent matches- 2 had Funks vs Santana/JYD and Bulldogs vs Beefcake/Valentine, 4 had Demolition vs Strike Force and a few of the tourney matches were ok, I had no problem with Di-Biase vs Savage as the 'main event' although Hogan vs Andre was really the main on that show, 11 also had HBK vs Diesel but other than that was a total waste of time. I certainly think that 9 was the worst as the best match was HBK vs Tatanka which opened and that had a screwjob finish and 15 considering the talent they had was insultingly bad.

Well, I didn't mean to imply that II, IV, or XI had no matches at all worth watching, only nothing that seriously warranted going through the tape after you had already seen it once.
I had forgotten about IX (which I kind of like for personal reasons, being the first WrestleMania I had ever seen live on PPV) and XV, but would lump them in much the same boat.

i agree with 19 great card but 17 was THE best wrestlemania
i don't agree with Wrestlemania 22 though, how you can say that was the worst mania in a long time baffles me, i was there and the atmosphere was top class and there was:
*MITB with Shelton Benjamin defying gravity
*Edge/Foley
*Trish and Mickie James in the best womens match for years
*Michaels and McMahon
*Orton/Mysterio/Angle (though too short it was a very good match)
*Cena/Triple H
yes boogeyman/booker and playboy were stinkers of the highest order but every mania seems to have at least one stinker
what about Wrestlemania 20 which i also attended btw
Fatal Four-Way tag match X2 (both awful)
Playboy (terrible)
Cruiserweight Open (really horrible to watch live, ultimo dragon falling over was funny though)
Goldberg/Lesnar (nuff said )
Undertaker/Kane (well after the great taker entrance this was one of the bigget letdowns in history imo, thankfully it only lasted all of about 6 minutes)

WM14 for me
it was my first WM * watching it on TV * and it was sorta a passing of the torch the offical start to the Austin/ Attitude era
WM 21 , HBK vs Kurt Angle was a classic match only thing bad about it was it had to be followed up by that stupid sumo match

WM5- Hogan vs Savage was a good match, Rockers vs Twin Towers, Rude vs Warrior & Blazer vs Perfect were decent but there were too many matches so they were rushed, the rest of the matches were mostly poor, RUN DMC sucked and so did Piper's Pit- all capped off by the deadness of the crowd of high rollers.
