    Is -1%bf per month good

    Ive gone from 21% to 16% in 5 months, no suppliments, is this good?

    That's very good. Keep it up. Usually 1-2% is safe, although some people think you can go higher. Depending on how high your bodyfat is, you can. But you seem to be doing well.

    I guess thats really the question, if he gained LBM and lost bodyfat, then thats pretty damn good, imho...

    he's only 140, he needed to preserve any mass that he did have going into it. So 9 pounds is pretty good for 5 months if its a very slow cutting process.

    8 kg is a lot more than 8 pounds. 8 kg is closer to 17 to 18 pounds. In 5 months, that is what 3-4 pounds a month? Which is a good rate to lose fat at.
