very frustrated and confused!
Hi! I am new to this forum........Here's my story. I would like to compete for the first time. I have worked on building my muscle and now I have started my cutting diet. I don't think my diet is working for me though. I don't really have a cheat day, and I'm becoming frustrated with my diet, craving all kinds of things I never even thought about eating before until now!! As far as my diet goes I have the following MEAL 1 - 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1tbsp. of almonds, and 1cup egg beaters, MEAL2- protein shake 1 tbsp. peanut butter 1/2cup of fruit(mostly strawberries)MEAL3-1 can of tuna 1/2 cup of rice,or sweet potato, green veggie,MEAL4-protein shake, MEAL5- 4-5oz. chicken and green veggie, MEAL6- protein shake. That is my diet, and it doesn't seem to be working. My workout schedule is chest/tri's, back/bi's, legs, shoulders, and abs. Cardio is usually 30-40 minutes 4-6 times a week. I would just like to see faster results, to get leaner. I am also a dancer so I am always on my feet and often feel very exhausted and my legs tend to hurt. could I be overtraining? I am 5'3 140lbs. My middle/abs seem to have gotten bigger, while other parts have gotten better looking....any advice out there for someone who is confused/?
